SENIORS:  North High School will host diploma packet pick up on Monday, June 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  At this time, you will be able to pick up your diploma and return any EVSC items not returned yet.  We will also host commencement on July 16th at 8:00 p.m. in Bundrant Stadium.  A link has been sent you via your student EVSC email address from Mr. Skinner to indicate your attendance in graduation that needs to be filled out by Friday, May 29th. 
**Important Information**
Diploma packet pickup   
North High School will be having Class of 2020  diploma packet pickup at North High School front entrance (door #1) from 11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm on Monday, June 1st.  During the diploma packet pickup, please follow these guidelines:
1) stay in your vehicle at all times
2) use the front entrance circle for drive through
3) give your name to North HS staff
4) if you have not returned EVSC/North HS items (chromebook, charger, textbooks, etc.) please do so at this time. You will be held financially responsible for items not returned. 
5) pick up your diploma packet 
6) check your name on the packet
7) in your packets you will receive (diploma, diploma cover, certificates, lunch account refund check, etc.)
8) pick up personal locker items, if you have not picked them up before
9) exit the circle drive
10) you can check the diploma packet before you leave campus in the parking lot area for accuracy
**Please no congregating or meeting up on the North Campus.  Observe "social distancing" at all times.
Please pick up your packet during one of these times.  If you cannot attend in person, please designate who will pick up for you using this link.  The information that you give us from this link will also help us plan for the upcoming North HS Commencement ceremony. This form must be completed by no later than Friday, May 29th.
North High School Commencement for Class 2020
North High School 64th commencement ceremony will be on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 8pm in Bundrant Stadium.  At this time no plans have been set on family attendance during the ceremony at Bundrant Stadium, more details will come after July 1, 2020. Please check emails and social media for updated information.

Students, thank you for returning your EVSC items and picking up your locker contents last week.  For those of you that have not returned items, North High School will host the last day of item collection on Monday, June 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  After this date, families will be held financially responsible for any EVSC items not returned.  Please check your EVSC student email for more information from
Mr. Skinner.

During the drive through collection & return, please follow these guidelines:
1) stay in your vehicle at all times
2) use the front entrance circle for drive through
3) give your name to North HS staff
4) have EVSC/North HS items to be returned in a plastic bag 
               *chromebook, charger, textbooks, library books, etc.
               *band/orchestra instruments for graduating seniors and students that no are longer enrolled in these courses
     Do not turn in:  
               *the student computer carrying case
               *chromebook & chargers if student is attending EVSC virtual summer school, RAMP, participating in EVSC summer musical, and Green Brigade member
5) give return items to North HS staff
6) pick up personal items in locker collection bag from North HS staff
               *EVSC/North HS items found in lockers will be kept at school and checked back in
               *PE, Art, and other class items will be place in the collection bag
               *If student was sharing a locker, which was not recommended, items will be returned to the student assigned to the locker
7) check your name on the collection bag
8) exit the circle drive
9) you can check your locker collection bag before you leave campus in the parking lot area

Collection bags and other items not picked up during this time will be stored in a secure spot until we start school next year.  
After this date, you will be held financially responsible for EVSC/North High School items not returned.  
Report cards will not be printed for this semester, check RDS accounts.  Lunch accounts will roll over to next year for (9th-11th graders) and seniors will be refunded when they pick up their diploma packets.

Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2020

The IASP Department of Student Programs is excited to recognize North High School juniors, Jacob Alvey, Trenner Jones, Mary Kirsch, and Alexander Phan, along with 1,008 Indiana students from the Class of 2020 from 258 Indiana schools. Rising Stars of Indiana is a non-competitive recognition program, designed to honor high school juniors for their academic achievement. By allowing schools to identify outstanding scholars during their Junior year, we hope to increase their visibility and
scholarship opportunities.

NHS: Indiana Performance Qualified High School

Congratulations to North High School students, parents, and staff for receiving the status of a Performance Qualified High School for the 2019-2020 school year from the Indiana Department of Education and the Office of School Accountability & Accreditation. This is the second year in a row that Husky Nation has received this honor.

Congratulations to NHS Media Specialist Les Bain

Congratulations to North High School Media Center Specialist, Mr. Les Bain, for receiving an Indiana Connected Educators Award. He was nominated by the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library for being a strong advocate for the EVPL and developing a well-connected space for literacy at North High School.
