North High School will be hosting a student collection & return of belongings drive through at North High School front entrance (door #1) next week on Monday, May 18th; Tuesday, May 19th; and Wednesday, May 20th. Please see the information below for guidelines, dates/times, and more information. 
During the drive through collection & return, please follow these guidelines:
1) stay in your vehicle at all times
2) use the front entrance circle for drive through
3) give your name to North HS staff
4) have EVSC/North HS items to be returned in a plastic bag 
               *chromebook, charger, textbooks, library books, etc.
               *band/orchestra instruments for graduating seniors and students that no are longer enrolled in these courses
     Do not turn in:  
               *the student computer carrying case
               *chromebook & chargers if students is attending EVSC virtual summer school, RAMP, participating in EVSC summer musical, and not finished with AP tests
5) give return items to North HS staff
6) pick up personal items in locker collection bag from North HS staff
               *EVSC/North HS items found in lockers will be kept at school and checked back in
               *PE, Art, and other class items will be place in the collection bag
               *If student was sharing a locker, which was not recommended, items will be returned to the student assigned to the locker
7) check your name on the collection bag
8) exit the circle drive
9) you can check your locker collection bag before you leave campus in the parking lot area
**Please no congregating or meeting up on the North Campus.  Observe "social distancing" at all times.

8am-11am (Last names A-E)                   8am-11am  (Last names L-R)                    9am-11am (students that could not make it to scheduled time)                
12-3pm    (Last names F-K)                     12-3pm      (Last names S-Z)                     5pm-7pm  (students that could not make it to scheduled time) 
If you cannot make one of these times contact Miss Loete by email, [email protected] , to arrange another time for pick up.  Collection bags and other items not picked up during this time or another time arranged will be stored in a secure spot until we start school next year.    
Report cards will not be printed for this semester, check RDS accounts.  Lunch accounts will roll over to next year for (9th-11th graders) and seniors will be refunded when they pick up their after commencement graduation packet. 
No decision has been made regarding EVSC Commencements. A Commencement Survey was sent out to the Class of 2020 parents.  I will let you know as soon as a decision is made.

Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2020

The IASP Department of Student Programs is excited to recognize North High School juniors, Jacob Alvey, Trenner Jones, Mary Kirsch, and Alexander Phan, along with 1,008 Indiana students from the Class of 2020 from 258 Indiana schools. Rising Stars of Indiana is a non-competitive recognition program, designed to honor high school juniors for their academic achievement. By allowing schools to identify outstanding scholars during their Junior year, we hope to increase their visibility and
scholarship opportunities.

NHS: Indiana Performance Qualified High School

Congratulations to North High School students, parents, and staff for receiving the status of a Performance Qualified High School for the 2019-2020 school year from the Indiana Department of Education and the Office of School Accountability & Accreditation. This is the second year in a row that Husky Nation has received this honor.

Congratulations to NHS Media Specialist Les Bain

Congratulations to North High School Media Center Specialist, Mr. Les Bain, for receiving an Indiana Connected Educators Award. He was nominated by the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library for being a strong advocate for the EVPL and developing a well-connected space for literacy at North High School.
