North High School will be on regular schedule for the entire finals week to allow more time for taking finals. The final exam schedule has been emailed to students and posted on North High School social media and website. Please review this with your student to ensure you do not have conflicts with appointments, etc. that would require them to miss school during this critical time. Students are expected to be at school the entire day during finals week (December 11th-15th). That said, we understand there may be exceptions for emergency situations, medical appointments that cannot be rescheduled, etc.

With that said, any necessary dismissals will only be done through the EVSC SafeArrival app. Notes or phone calls will not be accepted. Office staff will not be able to call for students from testing rooms, and students will not be permitted to leave during a final exam period. We ask that families please plan accordingly. If parents know prior to the day of their student’s early dismissal, they should enter the information into SafeArrival as soon as possible. If possible, Safe Arrival should also be used for emergency situations.

Once parents enter the information into Safe Arrival, please forward to your student the email/text confirmation you receive. Students will be directed to show this to their teacher and office staff at the time they need to leave.
